Making a passport （those with Japanese nationality only）
You can apply for passports and receive them at Urayasu City Hall.

When applications are accepted
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.
(closed on national holidays and year-end/New Year holidays)
Note: Passport applications are not accepted on Sunday.
When passports can be issued
Monday to Friday and Sunday, 9 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.
(closed on national holidays and year-end/New Year holidays)
Note: You can receive your passport on a Sunday even if it falls on a national holiday.
Who can apply
- Japanese nationals who are registered residents of Chiba Prefecture.
- Japanese nationals whose resident registration is outside of Chiba Prefecture but live within Chiba Prefecture.
