Municipal housing and prefectural housing are residences that people with limited income can rent at low rates.

Municipal Housing

These are residences that Urayasu City rents out.Foreign residents who have been granted visa of permanent residence can apply to live in them.
The city website and City News Urayasu post notices when residences become available.

Chiba prefectural Housing

These are residences that Chiba Prefecture rents out.Available residences are announced four times a year, in April, July, October and January.Applications are accepted from the first to the fifteenth of each of these months.Please apply by postal mail.
You can obtain the necessary documents at the Urayasu City Hall’s Central Maintenance Room (After-Hours Reception; 1F); the Housing Affairs Section (6F); or any of the station city service centers.
